In the end, I think, I am simply interested in the complexities of this construction of reality in its infinite fluctuations.
In itself, this is an event, a space in time, belonging to experience, and how these experiences themselves fluctuate from viewer to viewer.
By eliminating a cognitive pattern in a color scheme or painting/object, one can allow perception to be re-formulated.
Through this, we allow empirical memory-recognition stand by itself in a present moment. Once the viewer leaves the object, only a "sensation" of experience is left behind, but not a recognizable/tangible object. in this way color can acquire a "cloud" state through which its field of interpretation is opened, and time and space can permeate each other.
The rectangles within the grids expand as much as contract towards their angles. (centrifugal force : centripetal force) Composed of greys, browns or blacks, where no nominal color can be perceived, the grids perform an interplay of silent simultaneos contrasts.
